If a great venture is planned,
And a mighty task awaits us,
A small step is taken,
With the expression of a hope,
Or, the fulfillment of a dream…
Hope spring eternal from human heart,
It fuels our ambition,
It sustains our desire,
In the belief
That time’s tide will turn.
The patient man
Learns to bide his time,
In expectation of pleasant things,
That are to come his way;
With a new beginning,
And the dawn of a new day.
The renewal of hope
Should be accompanied by patience,
The works of men bear fruit,
Only with the passage of time.
In the interim,
We should learn to endure,
With fortitude, born of adversity;
A virtue fit for the gods?
Or, to self-control, a time tested way.
