If we seek the blessings of the lord,

We should forsake our pride;

Those who come with pride in their hearts,

They go away with pride,

Those who come with humility,

They find forgiveness.

When we give up our pride,

In service to the poor,

We shall find salvation,

And our sins shall be washed away.

Submission is not a sign of surrender,

It is a mark of humility in the man.

We should respect the other,

As we respect ourselves;

We should listen to his woes,

So that he gives heed to our own.

For our own sake,

We should shun the path of avarice,

Free from selfish greed,

We should be selfless in our aims.
