If the principles of natural justice
Are the bedrock of the law,
On them, a foundation can be laid,
And a structure can be built.
The call for justice is man’s heartfelt cry,
Men call for justice to be done
In the here and now,
Not in the hereafter to come.
In the company of the righteous,
In the company of the fair,
We must scale the heights of justice,
To reach the summit of the law.
Justice delayed is justice denied,
So repeat the prayer for justice to be done,
In a court of appeals,
In a court divine.
Good shall triumph, evil fail,
That is the law, the unwritten law,
Tyranny shall be undone,
From bondage, we shall be freed.
Once the wheel of dharma is turned,
It cannot be stopped,
Till it turns full circle,
Till justice is done.
